Chemical Peel
Generally, the best superficial chemical peels for acne consist of glycolic acid or light trichloroacetic acid (TCA). Alpha hydroxy acids, such as glycolic acid at 30-50%, are ideal for superficial chemical peels for acne and scars. These acids help unclog the pores and, through exfoliation, remove the dead skin cells.
